Volunteers

At Smart Kids Learning, we prioritize the safety and well-being of all our students. That’s why we carefully select and vet our team of dedicated volunteers who generously contribute their time and skills to support our programs. We ensure that all our volunteers undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, providing an added layer of security and peace of mind for our students and their families.

Our volunteers play a vital role in creating a positive and enriching learning environment. They bring their passion, expertise, and diverse backgrounds to inspire and support our students’ educational journey. Whether they assist with academic activities, mentorship programs, or extracurricular initiatives, our volunteers make a significant impact on the lives of our students.

The DBS check, formerly known as the CRB check, is a robust vetting process that helps us maintain a safe environment. It involves a comprehensive background check that examines an individual’s criminal record history. By ensuring that our volunteers undergo this check, we strive to create a secure and trustworthy learning environment for all.

Our commitment to child safeguarding goes beyond the DBS check. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to our volunteers to ensure they understand and adhere to our policies and procedures. They are equipped with the necessary knowledge and guidance to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere.

The dedication and enthusiasm of our DBS-checked volunteers are invaluable assets to Smart Kids Learning. Their involvement enhances the overall learning experience and enables us to provide individualised attention and support to our students. We are grateful for their selfless contributions and the positive impact they make on the lives of our students.
