Learning Assistants
Our Learning Assistants collaborate closely with teaching staff to provide comprehensive support to children in their learning, behaviour, social, and academic development, as well as during extra-curricular activities and events.
In order to effectively support children in a childcare setting and cater to their unique needs, our Learning Assistants receive regular and extensive in-house training and workshops. Our training programme is meticulously designed to ensure that Learning Assistants possess relevant and up-to-date skills and knowledge. It covers key areas such as Child Development, Safeguarding, Learning and Behavioural Support, and Working with Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. By participating in this training, our Learning Assistants are equipped to provide tailored support that addresses the individual requirements of each child.
We understand that every child is unique and may require different approaches to learning and development. Our Learning Assistants are trained to adapt their support strategies to accommodate the diverse needs of each child, fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment.
